The 23rd of February was set to be engulfed in a stormy cyclone, but as luck would have it, a bit of drizzle and then overcast skies were the setting for Grant and Laurell's wedding day in Putaruru, and it was a truly amazing day!
I'd been looking forward to Grant and Laurell's big day for some time and it didn't disappoint. They're such lovely, open and friendly people and that's exactly the vibe we got on the day, with the added love and enthusiasm from their incredible bridal party and fun-loving guests. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and it was clear from the smiles on their faces to their gorgeous heartfelt vows that these two really are made for one another.
We had a blast checking out some of the amazing settings within the Timber Museum, including a classroom which was a lot of fun with the colourful bridal party. Plenty of horsing around and laughter was had while making the most of every photo opportunity.
A highlight of the day for me was seeing Laurell arrive in beautiful a horse and cart, and then getting some photos of Cooper the Clydesdale horse with the bride and groom. The speeches at the reception were also particularly awesome, a mix of very funny and highly emotional!
When we signed off for the night the party was only just getting started and it was obvious Grant and Laurell had an incredible night ahead of them. Check out the photos below for a snapshot of their special day, and you'll see what I mean!
