Daryl & Carolaina

February 25, 2019

Daryl and Carolaina are my kind of people. When I first met them at their home to discuss their big day, they were warm, welcoming and best of all, offered me a coffee and biscuits right away - I knew I was onto a winner then.

Getting to know them has been an absolute pleasure, and it's easy to see how they have such an amazing support network of family and friends around them. These loved ones showed up in full force to celebrate the day away with them on their wedding day.

Warren and I were treated to a beautiful celebration that encompassed a romantic ceremony, colourful traditions and a vibrant guest list, topped off with some amazing cultural displays.

My favourite moment of the day was a Father/Daughter dance which was so moving and brought me close to tearing up! Special men from Carolaina's family all stepped forward one at a time to lead her in an emotional slow dance.

A close second would be the amazing traditional dances which were so exciting and got everyone cheering, it truly was a spectacular display.

The thing I take away from this lovely couple's day especially is just how well set up they are for a happy future. They clearly have a solid foundation of love between them, as well as a beautiful extended family to support them in the coming years. I wish Daryl and Carolaina nothing but the best!

Check out some snaps from their wedding day below, and you'll see what I mean.
